Record card: Customers will be asked to sign a record card prior to the commencement of the groom. The appointment card will be an agreement of the dog’s medical history and temperament. It is in the dog’s best interest that all questions asked are answered honestly and openly.

Disclosure of aggressive behaviour: The owner must disclose any history of incident of aggressive behaviour or biting. This does not necessarily mean that your dog will not be accepted for groom but I do reserve the right not to continue on a dog that becomes severely anxious or aggressive so that it might pose a risk to myself of itself. In the event of an incomplete groom you will be contacted to collect your dog and a charge will be made for the work carried out.

Late for appointments: If you are 15 minutes or more late for your appointment your appointment might have to be cancelled and you would have to rebook with a deposit. We have to ensure our service continues on a one to one basis,as you would expect, and the next appointment/ customer could be compromised if we accept your dog late.

Payment: Payment must be made on collection. At present the only payment method is cash. I will update you when this changes.

Collection: Dogs must be collected at the stated time. Failure to collect on time may incur a sitting fee as delays could affect the time we can accept the next customer( subject to circumstances).

Cancellation: At least 24 hours notice must be given for cancelled appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be noted on your record card and a payment in advance will be required to secure your next appointment.

Parasites: If your dog is found to be suffering from any parasitic condition ( fleas, mites, worms) you will be notified to take appropriate action. Any treatment given to remove the condition will be charged for.
